The Genesis GV60 is the first electric dedicated electric vehicle from the South Korean manufacturer and will sport an athletic coupe design emphasizing a high-performance EV aesthetic. The GV60 will feature a variety of new features, components, and technologies to complement its futuristic design language. This includes features like a Crystal Sphere that will embellish the center console, and a new Face Connect feature that will recognize the driver’s face to lock and unlock the doors without using the keys. Powertrain specs of the Genesis GV60

The Genesis GV60 will be the first vehicle to be built on a new dedicated EV platform known as the Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP). The GV60 will be available in three configurations – a standard rear-wheel-drive model, a standard four-wheel-drive model, and a performance-oriented model with a four-wheel-drive. Each model will be powered by a 77.4 kWh battery.

Coming to the motor, the base RWD model is equipped with an electric motor that has a power output of 168 kW and 258 pound-feet of torque.  The AWD model is equipped with a 160 kW motor for the rear wheels and a 74 kW motor for the front wheels that combine to produce 234 kW and 446 pound-feet of torque. And finally, the performance model features two 160 kW motors for both the front and rear wheels which combine to produce 320 kW and 448 pound-feet of torque.
